Following the resignation of Kent Burgess, the Your Community Health Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed Liz Chondros as the Interim CEO. Liz will begin this role on 18 April, guiding the organisation over the next few months until the Board appoints a permanent CEO.

Liz has a long and successful career at Your Community Health, being part of the team for over 20 years. Her in-depth understanding of the organisation, strong relationships, and connection with staff make her the right fit for the Interim CEO role.

The Board has the utmost confidence in Liz’s capacity and thoughtful approach to continue the successful path forged by outgoing CEO Kent Burgess, and we look forward to working closely with her, and the entire YourCH Executive Team.

The Board will begin a talent search for the permanent CEO role shortly, and further updates regarding backfill for Liz’ substantive position will follow once confirmed.

Best,

Tony McBride
Your Community Health Board Chair

“It is an honour to step into the Interim CEO role and continue Kent Burgess’ work to improve health outcomes in our community. I am proud and inspired by Your Community Health’s history and role in promoting health, equity and inclusion, and I am dedicated to carrying that mission forward.”

Liz Chondros
