CEO Resignation Announcement

After four remarkable years as our CEO, Kent Burgess has resigned from the position to take on an exciting new role as the CEO of Windana. His last day with us will be Thursday 17 April.
It is with both sadness and gratitude that I share this news with you. Under Kent’s leadership, Your Community Health has thrived and profoundly impacted the community we serve, establishing a strong foundation for our future.
Kent has been instrumental in advancing our commitment to health and wellbeing for all, and his accomplishments during his tenure are significant. Kent’s vision, compassion and tireless commitment to our community have made Your Community Health stronger. I will greatly miss working with him, but know that the legacy he leaves behind provides a foundation for our continued success. On behalf of the Board, I extended our deepest gratitude to Kent for his collaboration and accomplishments, and wish him all the best as he takes on his new role at Windana.
The process for appointing an Acting CEO from among our Executive Team is underway. The Acting CEO will be announced well prior to Kent’s departure to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in leadership. The Board will then lead a talent search for the ongoing CEO role.

Best,
Tony McBride
Your Community Health Board Chair
