Information about a recent cyber security incident at Your Community Health

On 30 June 2026, we became aware of a data security incident involving our website. The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) contacted Your Community Health to advise of a breach affecting multiple websites across Australia. Some of our online forms held personal and health information, and this may have been accessed by an unknown third party.

We want to reassure our community that our health and medical records were not affected. Our website has been secured and is safe to use.

This incident involved information that people entered into some of the forms on our website, such as the contact us, feedback, and other general enquiry forms. Our intake and referral forms were not affected.

We have contacted all affected individuals directly by email, text message or telephone. ​If we have not contacted you about this incident, you have not been affected. 

What we did

As soon as we became aware of the incident, we acted immediately to secure the website and brought in specialist cyber security experts to conduct a thorough investigation. Our website is now secure and safe to use.

The incident has been reported to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We understand this news can be worrying. We are sorry this has happened and we apologise for any distress it may cause. The privacy and safety of our community is important to us and is something we take very seriously.
