Join your local community in taking a stand for respect, equality, and safety for all. As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Darebin is hosting a range of free events that invite reflection, creativity, and action.
Star Weaving Workshop
Show your support for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and weave a star as a symbol of what respect means to you. The stars will be installed across the library, inspired by the One Billion Stars project.

Weaving Against Violence
Take a moment to slow down at this busy time of year and join us at the IC, together with local fibre artists and members of the Ava Tapestry Groups. Bring your own project along, or try your hand at basket-weaving, macrame, tapestry, or crochet with recycled t-shirt material. Materials provided and no experience necessary.
