Our fees

Our fees

Many of our services are free or low cost. Our fees have been set so that people on different incomes can get the quality healthcare they need.

You will not be denied services if you are not able to pay. You have the right to ask for your fee level to be changed because of your circumstances. If you have any concerns about fees, please speak to our reception staff.

The fees below are a guide only. We will inform you of your fees by phone or in writing when you are referred to or first receive a service.

  • Social Support 2-3 hour activities (all package levels): $57 per session, additional $8.50 for transport if required.
Dietetics
  • Initial onsite consultation: $200 (includes a brief report)
  • Regular onsite consultation (up to 30 minutes: $85
  • Long onsite consultation (30-60 minutes): $140
  • Initial home visit consultation: $270 (includes a brief report and travel)
  • Subsequent home visit consultation: $140 per hour + travel
Physiotherapy
  • Initial onsite consultation: $150 (includes a brief report)
  • Regular onsite consultation (up to 30 minutes): $85

  • Allied Health Assistant regular session (up to 30 minutes): $45
  • Allied Health Assistant long session (30-60 minutes): $90
  • Allied Health Assistant home visit session: $90 per hour + travel

    • $75 up to 30 minutes return
    • $150 per hour after 30 minutes

Emergency treatment

$31.50 per course of care if you hold a Pensioner Concession Card or Healthcare Card.


General care

$31.50 per visit if you hold a Pensioner Concession Card.

The most you will need to pay for a complete general course of care is $126.


Dentures

The cost of dentures depends on the type of denture you need.

$76 per denture. The most you will pay for full upper and lower dentures is $152.

Child services

Emergency care 

Emergency care is bulk-billed (no out of pocket costs) for all children eligible for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

  • Children 0-12 years: free
  • Children 13-17 years: free if the child or parent holds a Concession card.


General care:

  • 0-12 years with Health Care or Pension Concession Card: free
  • 13-17 years with Health Care or Pension Concession Card: free
  • 0-12 years with Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule: free
  • 13-17 years with Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule: free
  • 0-12 years without Health Care or Pension Concession Card and not eligible for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule:  $38 per child up to a maximum $152 for families (per course of care)
  • OPG Services (full mouth x-ray): bulk-billed (no out of pocket costs)

  • Low income range: $5

GP and Specialist medical services
Medical fees information

We are a mixed billing clinic and some of our clients will need to pay a fee for medical services.

We continue to offer bulk billing or no-fee medical services to clients who are:

  • Health Care Card and Pension Card holders and dependents
  • DVA card holders
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers who have a Medicare card
  • Children under 16 years of age (fees will apply for Specialist Consultations for non-card holders)
  • booking appointments related to the Pharmacotherapy program.
GP Clinic did not attend/late cancellation fee
  • Less than 2 hours’ notice: $20

Please note: the Did Not Attend fee applies to everyone, regardless of whether your appointments are bulk billed.

Social Support groups

All Social Support groups operate under a Program of Support.

  • Once-off establishment fee: $675.60
  • Social Support groups – 5.5 hours: $98.37 per session
  • Men’s Shed Groups – 5 hours: $80.21 per session
  • Giggle Gang Group – 4 hours: $68.03 per session
Optional additional items
  • Meals: $5 per session
  • Transport for Social Support groups: $48.60 per session
  • Outings: $15-$25 per outing
  • Transport for outings: $21.27-$24.05

Programs of Support

A program of support runs for up to six (6) months. Participants will be charged for the entirety of an agreed program of support (up to 6 months). The providers cancellation policy does not apply to a program of support.

Participants must provide two (2) weeks’ notice before exiting a program of support. If a participant stops attending a program of support without providing notice, the provider will claim for four (4) consecutive weeks after that time.

At the end of an agreed program of support, participants must agree to another program of support.

We ask that you advise us within 24 hours if you need to reschedule an appointment. This means we can offer other client an appointment time.

Full appointment fees will apply if 24 hours’ notice is not provided.
