Our Children’s Clinic
Our Children’s Clinic provides quality, personalised care for children 11 years and under living in the City of Darebin. We support them and their families with health, developmental, behavioural, social and emotional concerns that affect their lives.
We can provide assessment, care management and support for children with various conditions.
You will need a referral from a doctor to access this service and be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We only accept referrals if you live in Darebin.
Referrals from a General Practitioner (GP) are usually valid for 12 months, starting from the date of your first appointment with the paediatrician. Referrals from a specialist are valid for three months from the first appointment.
Referrals can be faxed to 03 8470 1107 or emailed directly to our Paediatric Clinic at paediatricians@yourch.org.au. We will then contact the child’s family directly to make an appointment.
From 5 August 2024, we will continue to offer bulk billing or no-fee medical services to clients who are:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons
- Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
