Physiotherapy
We are dedicated to helping you maintain physical wellbeing and mobility so you can live the independent, active life you desire. Your Community Health physiotherapists have advanced expertise in body movement and understand the factors that can hinder it.
Physiotherapy services are conveniently available at our three health centres and are open to everyone.
Exercise Groups and Classes
We provide gentle exercise, fitness, and strengthening classes to enhance your health and wellbeing. Our programs, supervised by physiotherapists and allied health assistants, are designed for all ages and abilities. Participants must complete a physiotherapy assessment before joining.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
Our Occupational Therapy services support you in engaging with everyday activities that matter most to you. Our Occupational Therapists work to enhance your abilities or modify tasks and environments to better suit your needs, making daily life easier. We cater to both children and adults, offering individual sessions, group sessions, or home visits based on your situation.
Podiatry
We provide expert prevention and management of foot, ankle, and leg conditions for individuals of all ages, from infants to older adults. Our services are accessible to everyone and include specialised support for people living with disabilities, including those funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Speech Pathology
Our speech pathologists specialise in enhancing communication skills for children aged six and under. We provide tailored support for developmental needs, assisting those facing challenges like limited speech by 18 months, stuttering, or voice issues. Please note that children currently receiving support through Early Childhood Early Intervention or the NDIS are not eligible for this service.
Counselling
Our mental health and counselling services adopt a holistic approach to your wellbeing, recognising that emotional and mental health are vital for a fulfilling life. Our generalist counselling service focuses on enhancing your emotional, social, and mental wellbeing, equipping you with tools to navigate life’s challenges. Counselling goes beyond conversation; it helps you unpack issues, understand your emotional needs, and develop strategies for improvement. We are dedicated to supporting you on your journey toward better mental health.
Dietetics – Food and Nutrition
We offer non-judgmental, practical food and nutrition advice to help you develop enjoyable eating habits that align with your goals. Our interactive group sessions cover cooking basics, budget-friendly choices, meal planning, and food label literacy in a supportive setting. Led by Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs), our team is committed to guiding you toward better nutrition.
Diabetes Education
We support individuals with diabetes in making vital lifestyle changes to manage their condition and minimise complications. We offer personalised sessions and group meetings for those with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes to connect and share experiences. Our trained Diabetes Educators collaborate with you and your GP to enhance your knowledge and skills for effective management, helping you navigate any challenges you may face.
Optometry
The Australian College of Optometry (ACO) provides comprehensive eye health services at our wulempuri barring health centre. Clients receive thorough examinations for eye health and visual function assessment, along with management of eye diseases, glasses prescriptions, and specialist referrals as needed. Care is delivered by experienced optometrists or supervised optometry students.
Hearing Australia
Hearing Australia offers a variety of hearing care services at our health centre every Monday. With over 75 years of experience, they provide comprehensive assessments, hearing device fittings, regular checks, and training to enhance listening skills. Their experienced clinicians also offer ongoing care, counselling, rehabilitative programs, device repairs, and home visits to support your hearing health.
Stop Smoking Support
We are committed to helping you quit smoking for good. Our tailored program offers one-on-one support from a health professional to help you identify triggers and develop effective quitting strategies. We provide both face-to-face and telephone appointments to suit your needs, making the process more accessible.
