Vanilla is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with a diverse background spanning private practice, forensic, fertility, and perinatal settings. She has worked with clients across the lifespan from children to older adults and from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds. Her clinical expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and more.

She is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Play Therapy, Sleep Therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy. In addition to her clinical work, she is also a registered supervisor, supporting the development of other mental health professionals.

Understanding that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable and sometimes daunting step, Vanilla is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to work toward what truly matters to them.

Getting started

New clients are invited to book a free 20-minute intake session. This initial consultation provides an opportunity to ask questions, discuss therapeutic goals and determine whether the therapeutic relationship is a good fit. If both parties agree to proceed, a full assessment session is scheduled. This first session focuses on gathering comprehensive background information and understanding the client’s reasons for seeking support. Therapeutic work typically begins in the second session.

Vanilla is currently accepting new referrals for both face-to-face and telehealth appointments and welcomes individuals of all identities and backgrounds.
