Holiday closure Support at our health centre
Services Australia visits our wulempuri barring health centre every Thursday. These sessions are for clients who need additional support in accessing services like Centrelink due to language barriers, poor mobility, lack of telephone and/or digital literacy. Clients are referred to these sessions by their Your Community Health clinicians.
Our Partner Services Australia provides services to support community members, including:
- Employment benefits
- Study support
- Health and disability support
- Pensions
- Aged care support
- Child care and support.
Who can use this service? Your Community Health clinicians refer clients who need additional support and clarification of Services Australia processes due to language barriers, poor mobility, lack of telephone and/or digital literacy. The service is not a replacement for the general Centrelink office or for people who can access offices independently.
Support provided The service will:
- connect you with the services you need
- explain how payments and programs work.
