We offer Specialty Services that support our diverse community, including inclusive care for the LGBTIQA+ community and gender-affirming services for trans and gender-diverse individuals. We provide culturally safe health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, tailored support for NDIS participants, and Aged Care services for older adults. Our Children’s Health and Youth Services focus on the wellbeing of young people and families, fostering a welcoming environment for all.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health

Our Aboriginal Health Team provides a culturally safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to access comprehensive health services, including dental, medical, and allied health support. We prioritise access for First Nations clients, offering free services to assist with social, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Our programs include individual support from Aboriginal Health Workers and group initiatives like the Kookaburra Club and Budda Men’s Shed, which foster community connections and cultural engagement.

Aged Care

We offer a variety of aged care services to help you feel your best as you age. Available to individuals 65 years and older, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50 years and older, our services can be accessed through My Aged Care and are provided at our health centres or in-home, if appropriate. Services include counselling, podiatry, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy, and social support groups. A referral via My Aged Care is required to access these services, and assistance is available for those who need help navigating the system.

Children’s Health

Our Paediatric Clinic provides personalised care for children aged 11 and under in Darebin, addressing health, developmental, behavioral, social, and emotional concerns. We offer a range of services, including mental health counseling, free or low-cost dental care, nutrition guidance, and therapies to enhance skills in play, learning and communication. Our experienced professionals collaborate with families for tailored support. We also provide the Interactive Play Program for early childhood educators, equipping them with strategies to foster children’s development in preschool settings.

NDIS Services

We offer trusted National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services to support individuals in achieving their goals. We provide a range of NDIS-funded services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics and nutrition, podiatry, and group activities, available at our health centres in the North-East Melbourne Area (NEMA). Our team works collaboratively with clients, their support networks, and support workers to maximise abilities and ensure personalised care.

LGBTIQA+ Health Services

We offer a range of services tailored to the unique needs of the LGBTIQA+ community, ensuring accessible and inclusive healthcare. With both online (telehealth) and in-person options, we prioritise quality care that respects individual health and wellbeing goals. Our commitment is to make you feel seen, heard and supported throughout your journey. Our services include inclusive primary healthcare, safe and affirming counselling, gender-affirming care, and specialised transgender health services, along with the Rainbow Gym, which promotes physical fitness in a welcoming environment.

Trans and Gender Diverse in Community Health

A Victorian Government-funded initiative that enhances health services for trans, gender-diverse, and non-binary individuals aged 18 and over. In partnership with Ballarat Community Health, Thorne Harbour Health, and Austin Health, we offer comprehensive healthcare and gender-affirming services, along with access to allied health resources. Our supportive environment provides personalised care, allowing new clients to complete an online registration form to connect with our Peer Navigators for assistance on their health journey.

Youth Support

Our Youth and Community Worker supports young people aged 12-25 in identifying their needs and goals for wellbeing. We provide individual and group sessions in a safe space, facilitating conversations and skill-building programs to enhance physical, mental, and social health. Services include information and referrals to health services, assistance with food and accommodation, and help with applying for Medicare and proof of age cards. We empower young people to connect with community resources and build confidence in navigating health and wellbeing services.
