Leadership at Your Community Health recognises that good health requires a ‘whole of community’ approach towards addressing social, environmental and economic inequalities.

The Leadership Team guides 300 staff to ensure the organisation is delivering its purpose and are accountable for delivering upon the organisation’s 2022-2026 Strategic Plan.

The Board is responsible for setting the overall governance and Strategic Directions for Your Community Health, including developing the governance policies that make clear the boundaries within which the CEO and Leadership Team work.

The Board actively promotes a genuine, inclusive and equitable governance approach across the whole organisation. One way the Board supports this is through aspiring to have a Board with sufficient members from various backgrounds, cultures and lived experiences that can better understand and address the diverse needs of our local community. Diverse perspectives on the Board enhance decision-making, creativity and the overall impact of the organisation in its purpose. The Board has established a target to transition to a Board with a minimum of three Directors from diverse backgrounds on the Board at all times as soon as practical.

Your Community Health is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. It is registered as a Community Health Service under Section (48) of the Victorian Health Services Act. Our Constitution governs our operations.
