About Us » Fees

Fees

Many of our services are free or low cost. We collect fees for some services so we can provide high quality healthcare to you.

Our fees are structured on a sliding scale and designed so that people on different incomes can get the healthcare they need. We are committed to our services being affordable and making sure that no one experiences financial hardship in paying our fees.  You will not be denied services if you are not able to pay. You have the right to ask for your fee level to be changed because of your circumstances. If you have any concerns about fees, please speak to our staff.

The fees listed below are a guide only. We will inform you of your fees by phone or in writing when you make a referral or when first receive a service.

Home Care Packages

Full cost recovery (levels 1-4)

Social Support groups 4-6 hours (package levels 1-2): $100 per session; additional $8 for transport if required

Social Support groups 4-6 hours (package levels 3-4): $125 per session; additional $8 for transport if required

Social Support 2-3 hour activities (all package levels) $55 per session, additional $8 for transport if required.

Initial Site Consultation (Dietetics) – $200
Initial Site Consultation (Physio/Podiatry) – $150
Initial Home Visit Consultation (Dietetics/Physio) – $250 (including travel) (1.4 hrs + travel)
Initial Home Visit Consultation (Occupational Therapy) – $400 (including travel) (2.5 hrs + travel)
Regular Site Consultation (Dietetics/Physio/Podiatry) – $75 (up to 30 mins)
Long Site Consultation (>30mins and <60 mins) – (Dietetics/Physio/Podiatry) – $125
Home Visit Consultation – $125/hour + travel
Travel – $75 up to 30 minutes return, $150/hour thereafter
Report Writing/Preparation of Quotes/Follow-up Work – $125/hour
Allied Health Assistant Session (up to 30 minutes) – $45
Allied Health Assistant Session (>30mins and <60 mins) – $90
Allied Health Assistant Home Visit Session – $90/hour + travel
Group Allied Health Session – $25

Allied Health Late Cancellation/Non-Attendance Fee – $40 (less than 24 hours notice)

Dental

Adult:

 

Emergency treatment – $30.50 per course of care if you hold a Pensioner Concession Card or Healthcare Card.

General care – $30.50 per visit if you hold a Pensioner Concession Card. The most you will need to pay for a complete general course of care is $122.

Dentures – The cost of dentures depends on the type of denture you need.
$73 per denture. The most you will pay for full upper and lower dentures is $146.

Child: Emergency care 

  • Free for all Children 0-12 years
  • Free for 13-17 years if you or your parent hold a Concession card

Emergency care is bulk-billed (no out of pocket costs) for:

  • All Children eligible for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule

General care:

  • 0-12 years with Health Care or Pension Concession Card – FREE
  • 0-12 years with Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule – FREE
  • 13-17 years with Health Care or Pension Concession Card – FREE
  • 13-17 years with Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule – FREE
  • 0-12 years without Health Care or Pension Concession Card and not eligible for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule $36 per child up to a maximum $144 for families (per course of care)
  • OPG Services (Full mouth x-ray) – bulk-billed (no out of pocket costs)

GP/Specialist Medical Services

From 3 July 2023, some of our clients will now need to pay a fee for our medical services, as we become a mixed billing clinic.

We will continue to offer bulk billing or no-fee medical services to clients who are:

  • Health Care Card, Pension Card and DVA card holders 
  • Children under 16 years of age (fees will apply for Specialist Consultations for non-card holders)
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons
  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers
  • Vaccinations, including COVID-19, influenza and child and youth vaccinations for eligible persons.

Non-attendance fee

We ask that you advise us within 24 hours if you need to reschedule an appointment, so that we can see other clients at this time. Non-attendance fees may apply if 24 hours’ notice is not provided.
