Community Festival of Belonging 2

Your Community Health and Darebin City Council are proud to have partnered to create the ‘Together Project’ – an initiative aimed at strengthening social and emotional wellbeing for the diverse communities that call Darebin home.

As a part of the Together Project, a volunteer-led working group of residents hosted the second Community Festival of Belonging. An event for locals, by locals!  
 
The Community Festival of Belonging, hosted at TW Andrews Reserve Reservoir on November 12, commenced with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony followed by an afternoon of multicultural dance performances, music, art, interactive workshops, kids’ games, and of course, wonderful multicultural food!  
 
A big thank you to the local volunteers from the Together Project who made this event possible.
