Finalist in Victorian Public Healthcare Awards: Rebuilding Together Program

The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards are held annually to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of healthcare workers, public health services and health volunteers.

Your Community Health is thrilled to be named a finalist for these awards under the Excellence in Culturally Diverse Health category for our Rebuilding Together through Cooking, Community and Connection program.

Supported by the Victorian State Government, our Rebuilding Together program was created and delivered to new and emerging Arabic speaking communities, allowing us to deliver nutrition education sessions to 120 seniors across two senior groups at the Victorian Arabic Social Services VASS and St. George church.

The Your Community Health Rebuilding Together program has also provided food relief to 513 families and 1,702 individuals to date.

The awards gala night will be hosted on November 16.
