We have some important updates about our services over the holiday period.
The Trans and Gender Diverse in Community Health service (TGDiCH) will be operating with reduced hours over the summer holiday period.
Shutdown period: 1pm on Friday 24th December 2021 to 9am Tuesday 4th January 2022. We will be open from Tuesday to Friday each week through the rest of the summer holidays.

We understand that as there is not currently a GP at this service, this could create longer wait times and limited access to some services. We know this is frustrating and would like to reassure the community that we are doing everything we can to have this resolved as quickly as possible. We are aiming to get back to having a specific GP service available soon.
This includes the recommencement of the Austin Health out-posted services every second Friday commencing January 28th 2022. This will be an informed consent model with Endocrinology and Psychiatric services available onsite at our PANCH (Preston) health centre.
In the meantime, our fantastic TGDiCH peer navigators and nurse team are continuing to provide a high-quality service to our clients and can continue to support with referrals, linkages and information on other TGD GP services.
We will continue to work in partnership with the TGD community and look forward to increasing the TGD GP coverage in the new year to improve accessibility for this important service.
