Leadership Team

The Leadership Team at Your Community Health lead over 300 staff to ensure the organisation is delivering its purpose.

The Leadership Team are accountable for delivering upon the organisation’s Strategic Directions 2022-2026.

  • Kent Burgess (he/him)

    Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary

    Kent joined Your Community Health in May 2021.

    Kent brings over 15 years’ of senior leadership experience within the community health, mental health, alcohol and drug, HIV and LGBTI health sectors. Previously he was Deputy CEO at StarHealth.

    His strategic leadership experience is underpinned by a clinical career as an occupational therapist in the mental health sector. Kent also has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and a Masters of Public Health in Health Service Management.

    He is delighted to join the Your Community Health team and continue to contribute towards a locally-driven model of community health and wellbeing services.

    Diannah Parker (she/her)

    Chief Financial Officer

    Di joined Your Community Health in early 2018. She is an experienced accountant, financial manager and company secretary, with leadership experience in governance, strategy development, risk management and compliance, business development and IT.

    Prior to joining Your Community Health, Di was Director Corporate and Regulatory Services and Company Secretary for auDA. Her career spanned the acute health and mental health service sector, with general management, strategic development, finance and accounting roles at Ostara Australia and The Royal Children’s Hospital.

    Di has a Master in Professional Accounting (RMIT) and is a member of CPA Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Liz Chondros (she/her)

    Director, Community Partnerships

    Liz has over 20 years’ experience in leadership, coordinator and clinical roles, predominately in the community health sector.

    She is committed to social justice, inclusion and reducing the disparities in health that exist between different groups in the community.

    Liz’s professional background as a speech pathologist includes experience in acute, early intervention and community health in rural and metropolitan area settings. In addition to clinical roles, Liz has worked in various management positions supporting a range of programs and projects including social support, men’s shed, allied health, quality, Aboriginal health and health promotion.

    In her current role she oversees a diverse range of programs including allied health, Aboriginal health, needle syringe and steroid education programs, social support and community programs.

    Liz has a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and a PRINCE2 Foundation Project Management Certificate.

  • Keegan Crow (he/him)

    Director, Primary Care

    Keegan joined Your Community Health in early 2018. He is an experienced oral health practitioner and healthcare manager, with leadership experience spanning clinical quality and safety, governance, service design, innovation and digital health solutions.

    Keegan is passionate about the role of community health and primary healthcare services within the architecture of the broader healthcare system, and our role in delivering improved health and wellbeing outcomes for all.

    As Director, Primary Care, Keegan has responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of oral health, medical, specialist and service access programs.

    Keegan has a Bachelor of Oral Health Science (La Trobe), Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Victoria University) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

  • Cate Grindlay (she/her)

    Director, Integrated Care and COVID Response

    Cate joined Your Community Health in September 2021 as Director, COVID Response.

    Cate began her career in nursing and has since held roles in the hospital, Indigenous health, women’s health, worker’s compensation, private health insurance, medico-legal, community health and primary care sectors. Cate brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, clinical quality, safety and governance, stakeholder engagement and change management. Cate is a former Director of Your Community Health and has held a ministerial appointment to a Victorian public hospital board.

    In her current role Cate oversees three streams of service delivery – community based vaccination, COVID testing and care of people with COVID outside of the hospital setting.

    Cate is an AHPRA registered nurse with postgraduate qualifications in midwifery, health consumer and community engagement and a masters in healthcare leadership.

  • Vanessa Brown (she/her)

    Director, Capability and Impact

    Vanessa identifies with She/Her pronouns and joined Your Community Health in November 2021 

    Vanessa has over 20 years’ experience working within community, not for profit and corporate environments. 

    Vanessa is passionate about social justice and healthcare models that place inclusion and self-determined care at the core of their organisational values.  

    Prior to joining Your Community Health, Vanessa worked in senior leadership roles within Australia and across the Indo-Pacific region in Community Health, International Development and International Aid sectors. Vanessa has obtained Post Graduate Qualifications in International Development (University of Melbourne) and Human Resource Management (Swinburne University).

    The remit of Capability and Impact Division covers People and Culture, Quality, Communications and Marketing, Strategy, Planning and Advocacy, Inclusion and Consumer Participation. 

    Vanessa is thrilled to be part of the Your Community Health team and have the opportunity to contribute to the rainbow and cultural center of the north.
