Counselling

Counselling can be a helpful way to improve your social and emotional wellbeing.

Our counselling services are available individually, for families or as part of a group. We use flexible and creative approaches to working with you to address social or emotional issues of concern.

We specifically focus on family violence, chronic disease, adults over 65, young people and homelessness.  Gambler’s Help also operates from our health centres.

Counselling is available to anyone in northern Melbourne, however priority will be given to people affected by family violence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, refugees and asylum seekers and people on a low income.

This service is free for people with a Healthcare Card or a low income. A fee may apply if you are on a higher income. A waiting list may apply.

Reconnexion

Reconnexion – a specialist service for treating panic, anxiety, depression and tranquilizer dependency – is also available at our East Reservoir health centre.

If you have a psychiatric condition, you may also be interested in making an appointment with our Mental Health Nurse.
